Giving back has always been integral to our business practice and is a crucial aspect of BLACK & WHITE'S philosophy.

ATHLETES
Support is one of BLACK & WHITE'S core philosophies. We believe in lifting people up in a world where many try to bring others down. BLACK & WHITE is proud to be a main sponsor of Olympic Free Skier Anja Barugh, and we feel privileged and humbled to support our daughter both financially and with products throughout her ski career.
We are equally honored to contribute products to another of New Zealand's elite sportswomen, Olympic Cyclist Ellesse Andrews.

HELPING SAVE LIVES & LOCAL YOUTH
For over 22 years, our family has proudly dedicated time and energy to the local Surf Club. Volunteering as lifeguards, coaching children in ocean safety, repairing boards and many hours involved with the crucial maintanence of our IRBs, and surf vechiles, as well as supporting the club with funding and donating gear for daily operations.
We were also major finacial contributors to the 2023 new build.
And also played a big part of the major ground breaking earhtworks to be able to start this project.
Over the years, we’ve organised and taken part in many fundraising events, for our local Sur Club, including the Black Tie event, which I initiated and played a major role in making this a great success.
At BLACK & WHITE, we are deeply passionate about surf awareness, especially at our beautiful Pukehina Beach. We are proud to have supported our lifeguards by sponsoring patrol uniforms and junior surf safety tops for more than a decade.

NATIONAL FUNDRAISING
We are proud to share that BLACK & WHITE, together with the Retreat, consistently donates products, retreat weekends, and gift baskets to many Pink Breakfasts and Lunches across New Zealand.
In 2024, we hosted a Pink Ribbon Lunch, raising $20,725, which was donated to Pink Ribbon and Breast Cancer Research, helping save the lives of many New Zealand women.

BLACK & WHITE Beauty proudly hosted another successful event, this time extending our support to include Prostate Cancer. We were absolutely thrilled to raise an outstanding $58,120.00! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, from across New Zealand and right here in our local community. Your generosity and support made this possible.
